What geographical areas do you cover?
Most of our work is within one hundred miles or so of York. That said, we will travel further for good clients. We have undertaken many jobs in the South of England and Scotland, even as far North as Inverness.
Back to topHow much do you charge?
96% of our works are tendered and our hourly rate varies depending on location and the size of the proposed works. Please contact us for a quotation.
Back to topWhat trades do you directly employ?
We carry on the books, joiners, decorators, builders, plasterers, roofers (pitched and flat) and multi trade site operatives. We have a good working relationship with several plumbing, electrical and flooring contractors and we are open to working with clients' nominated contractors.
Back to topAre your site operatives used to working in offices and retail environments?
Yes, all our people are used to working in occupied environments, be it in offices, a retail environment or where the public are close to hand such as when repairing a shop front or in a shopping centre.
Back to topHow do you handle Health & Safety?
The health and safety of our staff, clients and members of the public is our top priority. Every job is risk assessed and method statements issued. We employ a highly qualified health and safety consultant who meets with the directors every week to keep them abreast with new regulations and assess our working practices on site.
Back to topDo you have a workshop?
We have a fully equipped joinery workshop in York. We are able to manufacture to drawings and produce bespoke items such as staircases, cabinets, doors, panelling, skirting and architraves. We are also able to offer a full laminating and veneering service and we have a fully operational spray booth for fine finishing.
